At the Junior level you have access to the San Diego Chapter's benefits and career advancement opportunities from our diverse committees program offerings in leadership, team dynamics and professional development from a network of STEM professionals focused on supporting your career goals. The National Junior Membership, required at this stage, offers a basic level of national membership opportunities and allows you access to our dynamic national community to stay current on issues, events, and opportunities as well as nationwide access to AWIS member events at low or no cost. AWIS National Membership is required for San Diego Board or Committee Level Positions

At the professional level you have access to all our San Diego benefits as well as to our San Diego Leadership Network. Designed for Senior Leaders the program helps you optimizes your career exposure and provides target specific program content aimed at supporting your career goals while allowing you the opportunity to share your expertise with the next generation of STEM Leaders. The National Membership required at this stage, offers a step up the career ladder with opportunities to build your leadership toolbox with AWIS knowledge programs, mentoring, and advocacy training as well as access to nationwide access AWIS member events at low or no cost.

Notes:
1) AWIS-SD Chapter-only membership is available to students for $25/1 year.
2) All AWIS-SD Chapter-only student members may attend AWIS-SD events at member rates.
3) AWIS-SD Chapter-only student members will receive chapter benefits, but will not receive AWIS magazine, electronic communications from AWIS National, or attend AWIS webinars at member rates.
4) Proof of student status must be provided. Acceptable are copy of current student ID, course payment receipt, or certificate of enrollment/completion. Course(s) must be taken within 9 months of initial application or renewal.
5) Students who wish to serve on the AWIS-SD Board must join at the junior membership level (student option one).
Junior:
STEP 1: Fill out the Online AWIS Membership form (*note* some browser tracking protection features may break the form) and register through AWIS National.
STEP 2: Choose a category: “Junior $65”.
STEP 3: Select "California: AWIS San Diego, CA Chapter" under Group Membership. An additional chapter fee of $25 is required to receive great chapter benefits.
Professional:
STEP 1: Fill out the Online AWIS Membership form (*note* some browser tracking protection features may break the form) and register through AWIS National.
STEP 2: Choose a category: “Professional $150", “Sustaining $250”, “Patron $500” or “Benefactor $1,000”.
STEP 3: Select "California: AWIS San Diego, CA Chapter" under Group Membership. An additional chapter fee of $25 is required to receive great chapter benefits.
