AWIS-SD's Academia 2 Industry (A2I) Committee invites you to our Happy Hour on June 8th from 5-7pm. All committee members and AWIS members are encouraged to join us to network, learn more about A2I, and enjoy an evening with AWIS! Food and drinks will be provided.

AWIS-SD | Welcome
Welcome to the Association for Women in Science San Diego Chapter, AWIS-SD!
AWIS-SD is the largest chapter in the National AWIS family and we are proud to further the AWIS mission of championing “the interests of women in science across all disciplines and employment sectors” in our local community. We host outreach science programs, as well as career development and social activities that provide support for individuals who identify as women scientists throughout the county. Our scholarship program and special science fair awards provide much needed funds and recognition to women identifying STEM students. I encourage you to attend our diverse activities and if you are interested in becoming more involved in the doings of our chapter, check out the description of all our committees here. All are actively recruiting new members and the chapter, overall, would love to get more people involved. Meetings and any upcoming events can be found on our website calendar.
