Equal Pay Day Leadership Luncheon

This is a non-AWIS event that may be of interest to members:

Equal Pay Day Leadership Luncheon hosted by the Lawyers Club of San Diego, on the 19th national observation of Equal Pay Day.

April 14, 2015 marks the 19th national observation of Equal Pay Day - the date on which a woman works to earn what her male counterpart earned the previous year.  According to latest US Census statistics, on average, full-time working-women earn 77 cents to every dollar earned by men.

The Luncheon will address what can be done to close the pay gap between men and women as well as what is currently being done to move women towards full pay equality.  Individuals interested in attending may register at http://www.lawyersclubsandiego.com/events/event_details.asp?id=619297
