Mission Statement

The mission of the Website committee is to provide information about the programs and activities of the San Diego Chapter of AWIS to members and non-members. The website committee works with the AWIS SD Board and Committee Chairs to ensure that the information appearing on the website is current.

Joining the Website Committee:

The committee is always welcoming new members! We are using a content management system called "Joomla!"  to edit our articles, keep the events calendar and create event registrations. This is a great committee for tech-savvy people, talented editors, writers and people who like to learn about web design.  No extensive experience coding in html or other website-relevant experience is needed, we provide training and SOP's. The committee meets once per month in person.
